Whilst I agree that there is a transition from ICEs to EVs underway, your certainties as to what it means for the nickel market are far too certain for me.
Whether you can get decent range cheap EVs, using NCM 811, and high nickel prices might be a conundrum you might want to ponder.
In an expensive EV no one is going to care too much about the price of nickel, but once you are pushing your EV Corolla to compete on price with your ICE Corolla that nickel cost is going to be very important.
You can have your certainties, but I”ll have my lessons of two decades investing in nickel miners. It’s a fickle metal. Where there is a high cost someone will be looking hard for an alternative.
