LOL I don't think Rudd, Howard, Bush and Obama are the same but I will agree that the differences are not all that great.
They probably have to be somewhat similar to get elected as people generally shy away from radical ideas.
As to the stimulus packages...who knows if they will work...but it's worth a try as some learned people say it's a good idea but could yet be wrong. Time will tell.
