China only puts restrictions on things that they can get from elsewhere
coal from Mongolia
barley from plenty of other countries
live fish and lobsters from Vietnam Canada New Zealand
beef from brazil etc etc
if lithium was available in quantity from South America the they would slap tarrifs on but it’s in short supply
they won’t shoot themselves in the foot to teach Australia a lesson we’re safe for the time being.
