    This situation reminds me of recent BNB activity with the noteholders... the NZ holders voted down the pathetic bank offer for their notes and put BNB into admin... a lose - lose scenario for everyone, but the note holders won the moral vistory :)

    Conceivably the same could happen with CNP forcing the Aus govt to "prop the shops" similar to the US banks?
