Your double whammy is going to be paying CGT at the full rate because you bought and sold your first parcel within 12 months. I am always mindful of this fact and unless a company's fortunes have taken a dramatic turn for the worse its best to be patient not to try to time the market. Very happy with our 400,006 shares in FMG and the ridiculously generous dividends we can forward too over the next few years.

Even when the price of IO comes back to more realistic levels in years to come this stock is still going to be a fantastic pure dividend play at even today's prices.
