Couple of key points here:
Shell are not clowns...they have the vessel and can get the job done in the allotted time otherwise they wouldnt have just given away $3.5 million dollars. They are not there for fun.
CSEM is for firming up the actual drill target (not working out whether the oil is there or not). They must have liked the seismic and now just want to know EXACTLY where to pinpoint the first drill.
Guys like Shell dont mess around..these guys are very heavy hitters.
