I'm yet to see a technical argument that supports use of liquid helium as a cooling medium for vaccines, rather than liquid nitrogen.
Liquid helium is is objectively worse for this application in every way:
- Boiling point
- Latent heat of vaporization
- Cost
- Abundance
Even if Renergen have invented a brilliant esky, it would work better if they just used liquid nitrogen.
