MM ,I find it very hard to believe that AD would have told your broker that there was scepticism emanating from North America ,as a reason for not meeting AD ,and I cant see that your broker would have called up Mosaic or Potash and got that story.
If meetings didnt happen with Potash or Mosaic ,then I also find it hard to believe they told AD on the phone that they didnt want to meet because of the capex (which is tiny ) or the opex ,which is by no means high in relation to other producers .
And I would find it impossible to believe that AD would have told your broker the same ,even if it was true .
I would be very skeptical about these things if your broker is saying ,because frankly ,he would not have heard them from MAK .
I would agree that some may have unrealistic expectations with timelines for an offtake agreement .
Also, MAK cannot tell you ,or your broker of any progress regarding negotiations .I am not bagging you ,but you dont actually say who it was that said that the major stumbling block was the opex /Capex .I would be interested who made that statement .If it was your broker ,I would dismiss it entirely, because he simply wouldnt know .
