Going to have to disagree with you here, how is it criminal? They raise funds for heaps of companies. They obviously provide analyst reports on the companies they raise for. Otherwise how do they sell the product (being the cap raise) to investors.
I’m not really sure why people are hating on Euroz, they were always going to dump portions of their shares, they do it all the time. Selling the shares is what provides them with their payment for services.
I personally would find it counterproductive to do a cap raise and use said funds to pay for the raise.
They take shares as it reduces upfront fees to the companies they raise for. This holding is usually Sold off as quickly as possible due to risk and redeployment of funds.... there really isn’t much to read into it.
I’d imagine the purchases are apart of their financial services to clients, not so much re the ASX share balance sheets.
