I can tell you something it isn't reflecting... and that's the significantly extended runway FLC has until it needs to raise more capital, and that is not even taking into account the O&M contract it'll win once the Ivory Coast plant is completed .. that'll be a high margin, high quantum contract that will pay some serious bills.
It's not out of the realm of possibilities that we will see a nice contract come through in the next couple of weeks.. Fluence has a tendency to do that, but even if it doesn't... we are going to still get a nice juicy 4C (which will be somewhat offset by the one-off re-org costs approx US$7m).
However what we will end up with in 2021 and beyond is a leaner and more focused business.. and that is something I'm happy to be a part of.
I've learnt that the best time to buy FLC stock is when it gets eerily quiet and the short term hot money is selling due to inactivity...
Australia has just come out of a very harsh El Nino event... remember the drought that broke late 2019? We are now experiencing La Nina conditions.. that means that other parts of the world that have been saved by rain in the past several years will now be caught in severe drought... water is going to be a big big global issue in 2021 and beyond.
