If you're old enough to draw a pension (55+ and meet certain eligibility requirements) then the gains are tax free if the super is transferred into a pension fund.
And although you would think hotcopper is full of spotty teenage thugs, you'd be surprised at the collection of coffin dodgers that make up its membership.
