They have been down the animal health/antibiotic road in a previous iteration, Chemeq - it did NOT end well.

Good or bad, many high profile organisations are now showing support for this family of synthetic antibiotic/antiviral for use in humans via various modes of application/dosing. People with much knowledge/expertise in this area are backing RECCA for various trials & rebates. Risk/reward, time will tell.
