i am making an assumption that the product this company sells has doubled in price since they announced the costs of producing this product, of course the cost of production may have changed but i think it is reasonable to expect the doubling of this product to result in a change of margin (and a change in earnings).
appreciate your concern however and as i mentioned not advice and just my opinion
