Never voted Labour in my life, the Hon Mr Swan gives me the tom tits, but for once & I say again, for once I agree with the Hon Mr Swan’s decision, not happy to lose my $10k if that’s the outcome, but better in my opinion to lose a few dollars than let the Chinese possibly be a threat to our National security, don’t kid yourself if you think otherwise.
I have some very good Chinese friends, in Australia & China, travelled to China 10 times, business & pleasure, I can tell when in a position of power they will dictate their terms, the Govt & military are ruthless, people are fantastic.
Some poster mentioned we are not known to the rest of the world, well mate, I am living in Sweden & the news about the decision taken by Mr Swan is headline news over here on most of the networks.
If we lose our dollars no one to blame but management & the economic downturn, the government make decisions in the best interest of all Australians, not just pi##ed off OZ shareholders.
Onya Swannie,. gusty move, your DA MAN MATE
