Hi taboon,
I am positive that was stated by Kev, most likely in a BRR in the early days of drilling. To find it, one would have to go back and listen to all the BRR's around that time.
The big question is, would RIO bother with a buyout of this ground right now, I'd say probably not, but possibly down the track.
However, high grade BID does not appear to be that common, for eg, FMG only found 8 million tonnes of it next door at Soloman East and about 220MT CID of similar grades to what Flinders has found. Flinders may have over one hundred million tonnes of the lower impurity DSO BID, possibly more than 200MT, and I'm guessing 700MT of CID at around 56%Fe
So I believe the ground is valuable, but even if I am right, it does not mean we will see any buying interest in the near future.
