I would like to add to what you have mentioned:
PayPal is bleeding in their authentication business
All Online business of PayPal is being grabbed by the BNPL
BNPL comprises two components card based and non card based.
No single player can dominate the non card based.
Splitit is the only card based monopoly.
PayPal cannot recover in all the countries where the non card based have made a presence.
Splitit may give them chance to at least give a tough competition when the non card based arrive to those countries.
PayPal will be the only BNPL to handle both card based and non card based BNPL.
But then again why hasn’t PayPal made a bid to acquire Splitit at these low Valuation??
Suspence continues.
