Not exactly a killing if the members also bought AJM directly through Aus Super. They got screwed by Aus Super because they helped PLS buy out AJM , the members holding AJM were not offered the chance to participate in any CR done to buy out AJM and its very likely they AJM shares would have been lent out to shorters which contributed to the company getting kicked out of ASX 300.
These members should be adding Australian Super to any class action taken in the future for the losses caused to their Member Direct clients.
