thats an excellent post. I have read that Chinese steel uses about 1/4 the moly content per ton versus German steel as one example of the room for growth you are talking about. Whats happening in China's steel industry is forced consolidation favouring the largest players with the biggest plants, at the expense of smaller private plants producing lower quality steel. I'm a little skeptical on Nickel having the potential to go over 20k per ton. I remember speaking to a Chinese base metals analyst a couple years ago who said the cut off level at which DSO ferro nickel feedstock can be used as a substitute is when nickel is in the high teens.
