Another security assurance on Vmeat IP is that Jatcorp have many staff, directors etc living in China. Management would spend probably most of their time there as well as that is where most clients are.
To suggest that Jat Openheimer's Chinese JV partner could easily get away with IP theft is fanciful.
Sure if Jatcorp was a normal english only speaking company with no idea what was going on in china, IP theft could , and probably would be a problem.
