IMO, it would have been (a harder sell) if our test cannot be done via saliva, but now that I think it can, it will become a no brainer for governments/organisations to purchase and use over other nasal tests.

Being fast (like all other tests), accurate (like some other tests) and PAINLESS (unlike any other test), it will actually encourage people to go do more testings. As I believe there are still active Covid-19 cases out there in Australia, but people are just not being tested for it, so hopefully this can really eradicate it from Australia.
