I’m a long term holder of IMU from 1.8c days mid last year, and read these threads but rarely post.
With regards to the 49m shares being shorted these shares have to be loaned from somewhere so actually I don’t see this as such a negative, if substantial shareholders are willing to loan their shares it means they have no intention of selling anytime soon.
Happy to be corrected if I’m wrong about this but I thought that’s how it works, with the shorter paying an interest rate on the $ value of the position until it’s covered.
