Hi as I See it It is not about wages paid to workers . It is the fact that they can mine it at cost and then just truck ( Ship ) the product home at cost . This has the end result No Demand for the metals and reduces competition resulting in a lower price for our metals being sold . Our Banks if they want Government ( Taxpayers ) support then support our mining companies . The mine being close to Woomera is the most pathetic reason that I have heard yet .
