The last couple of weeks have been quite a roller coaster ride for shareholders, shorters, management and generally any other stakeholder in Mesoblast. This is to be expected as Mesoblast is revolutionizing medicine and paradigm shifts are always stressful and difficult. However, in the end change is one of the few certainties in life.

The latest trading halt has activated HC and other forums. From what I notice is, that the debates, arguments, ideas and reasoning has become more mature (I do admit, that I put overly aggressive, cross promoters and posters with no substance on ignore).

So it has been a pleasure reading all the different hypothesis and reasoning of why this trading halt occurred. People went to a lot of effort by reading all the past trading halts and the associated outcomes and looking for similarities. From a psychological perspective it was refreshing to read, “at the end I don’t know”, or, “I am leaving the keyboard and go for a walk”.

To me it seems, that this particular HC community is tapping into the group intelligence that emerges from collaboration, collective efforts, and competition of many individuals. This notion of collective intelligence is referred to as "symbiotic intelligence" by Norman Lee Johnson. Collective intelligence strongly contributes to the shift of knowledge and power from the individual to the collective. For me this is the reason I invest in spending my time on HC. I say it again, I am thankful for the many knowledgeable posters on HC, who are willing to contribute to the transfer of the individual intelligence to the collective intelligence shift.

As was pointed out rightly, nobody knows what awaits us shareholder when the trading halt is lifted. Personally I think most possibilities have been covered. So what to do? I will spend with my time with family and loved ones, go out into nature, cook, watch a good movie and read a stimulating book till Friday morning. Like this I calm my frontal vagal nervous system, spend most of the neural activity in my brain in my prefrontal cortex and therefore come Friday morning or Monday morning I will follow my trading plan and not make any rash decisions.
