they still built the books with a minimal discount. The stock has been at these levels for weeks.
Even if they were building the books since the 4th of december the share price was still at 5.62. So has this been two weeks in the making? Possibly. But the discount is still peanuts and instos don’t throw 120 million at losers. They would be seeing many positives to hand that amount of money over fully underwritten. They will be licking their lips knowing that afterpay has essentially put on 3 times Z1Ps entire valuation over 5 trading days. I don’t believe afterpay is smashing quadpay in the US and this is where the big gains will be made.
