Yes I do recall that 'incident' and was just reviewing the Nuon website before I even read your post as I had arrived at the exact same conclusion - that perhaps Nuon have decided to still go with mCHP but with technologically less risky product - albiet one with a lower electrical output.

But the big question is where to now for CFU? I certainly think that this news is going to hold down the share price in the medium term and those expecting a big stag profit on the rights issue will be disappointed.

Some positive news with respect to their other partners is clearly requried.

p.s would be interested to find out if the Ceres contract with BG is simlarly fragile as this Nuon one was.
