These are opinions only, mine is that it seems unlikely, just because its a good fit doesnt make it a deal. I have seen no evidence that a deal is in progress with Amex but that's just my opinion.

Splitit cannot update shareholders or the market on the pilots without the permission of MC and Visa and why would they give that as it would be useful to the competition and its common practice in my experience never to do that unless it gives a strategic advantage. If the pilots fail or another partner is chosen then any updates given would be a bad look IMO

Personally I hope the next announcement is they have an agreement with several third parties for funding as without that I dont see exponential growth being easily attained.

This is my opinion only, I will not comment on it any further as I feel thee are too many ping pong posts on here lately, if you disagree, fine.
