Remember always that ratings agencies exist only to influence sentiment for their benefit, nothing more nothing less.
I place them in the same category as shorters (the cancer of the ASX) and crystal ball gazers.
If people in ratings agencies were so good at their predictions, they would not be working for ratings agencies but would be solo traders only working for themselves and making a fortune . Instead they rely on the comfort and security of a regular wage as their essential fallback position for the numerous times their forecasting is wrong. Enough said.
