You seem pretty casual with your " we should only be isolating outbreaks " commentary.
So far we have got lucky. Very lucky . In SA it was only because a doctor was particularly persistent that the infection was found really early. Imagine if that had been allowed to run for another week before it was discovered ? SA would have been shut down from the rest of the country.
In Sydney it seems the lady involved was also quite proactive and yet look at the impact already. WA has closed to it's borders to NSW straight away. Restrictions are being applied all over the country already from this one ' little ' outbreak.
Imagine if one of these outbreaks just happened to get into aged care or a hospital and a couple of vulnerable people died ? It would be a whole different game then.
