In a previous post I wrote:
"If there are no further encouraging drilling results by the SPP cutoff on 8th January, then guess what will happen to the SP then?"

Perceptive readers may have realised that this could equally be wriiten as:
"If there are further encouraging drilling results by the SPP cutoff on 8th January, then guess what will happen to the SP then?"

Although apparently opposite, the general meaning would actually be much the same. It is a guessing game.



My comments were about the short term future in the context of the recent undeniably downwards trend of the SP.

Events and announcements influence the SP. The history of this stock suggests future volatility, a rollercoaster ride for holders. It is anybody's guess what the medium and long term future holds. The word "guess" cannot be overemphasised. In general, the more guesswork associated with a stock, the more speculative the stock. TSO might eventually be a huge success, but in my opinion it is too early to conclude that risks are low.



Now, on to the main reason for this new post. Seeking enlightenment to help minimise the guesswork.

Kindly excuse my ignorance, which may well be profound, but does anybody know what the prefix "CC" represents in the names that TSO has given to some geological faults? There are many types of geological faults. I have never heard of geological CC faults, nor has my favourite search engine. Perhaps CC is just part of an arbitrary naming convention adopted by TSO, having no particular significance. Hopefully, TSO experts who have read all the announcements since the beginning will know the answer.

What type of faults are CC faults?
