A like AVZ but stripping SDL of the two iron ore assets, (whether rightly or wrongly) does not send a good signal to investors in companies like AVZ who have assets in Congo. SDL claim they couldn't raise capital to fund project because they couldn't get approvals, and Congo say they didn't progress mines, however It sounds like a few suit cases of money paid by the Chinese to some officials might be the third story. If it happens to one company it can happen to another imo
