    tsk tsk

Going by your comments (with one or two exceptions) I am assuming that you are all elderly spinster aunts.
If our PM doesn't get served the meal he ordered, what chance have the rest of us got? In another country the flight attendant might have received a reprimand by her employer, even been sacked.

And how many times have you/I been dissatisfied with service in a shop/plane/restaurant? And haven't said a word?
My own béte noire is the phrase, when upon being thanked by me, the response is: "Not a problem" I have bitten my tongue many times, still haven't thought up the right response that's not cutting, but expresses my true feelings about that inane answer. Whatever happened to: "You're welcome!"?
Generalising wildly here, Aussie staff in a hospitality role, are at times unwilling and ungracious.

Good on Rudd for complaining! It might lift standards all around!

Now back to the economy, please!
