The open short position percentage is actually worse than shocking if you keep it in context.
Once again, traders are making assumptions without looking into facts.
0.49% is a phenomenally high number relative to other micro caps. And this point is important: remember to compare like-to-like, as in micro caps only. When I do this, I can’t find any other resource company with a percentage higher than Azures’.
I note that around 23rd Nov, the data shows there was no open short interest. Yet less then a month later, it rockets to 1.33 million shares!
So why such a heavy number of short positions here, and when will this tsunami subside?
Presumably there is worse news to come (which may have leaked), or perhaps shorters can interpret company announcements and charts better than most on here.
