In a world that is so interconnected, it would be almost impossible to have a viable, fully ethical business being capable of listings on the ASX, as almost everything is connected these days. You say that you can't understand why banks are being included within AEF's ethical charter because of their links to sex crimes? What about the good the banks do providing loans and funding to ethical initiatives all over the world to promote exactly what is within AEF's ethical charter.
If you're against the funds choice of investments, go somewhere else, or pick and chose the stocks that most align to your personal point of view.
