Yak, you need to ask yourself why Moore gets so much appreciation.
I accept that he may stretch the truth at times but the fact remains that a very large percentage of the world's population believe that Bush was wrong in invading Iraq in the way he did and that he has subsequently made a complete botch of the "restoration". Further, the introduction of western style democracy in the time period of a year or two was NEVER going to happen and was naive in the exterme.
The Europeans, for the most part saw this and the Moore film is a kind of catharsis for a world angered at US arrogance in making the world less safe in general than it was before 911.
For those of us in countries such as the US, UK and Australia who have been gagged, lied to and manipulated by our own governments, the film represents a nice "up yours" to the Bush croud even if most can see its shortcomings.
