Seriously guys, these threads pop up every time.

Then it starts working again and we forget.

Not this time for me.

I'll bump the thread where a few online brokers are recommended.

I chose Macquarie Prime. By next week I'll be trading with them.

Stuppppppid ANZ/E*Trade. I'm by no means a big hitter, but in the last 2.5 years since starting trading I have made over 600 trades. That is about $18,000 brokerage they wont be seeing any more of.

If they lost that from enough people.... and there would be many who trade more than me (both volume and $ at a time)... maybe they'd realise they should have spent a bit more money on their "service".
