@Batmansdaughter - what do you make of this?
Only 135,496 new short positions yesterday against a trading volume of 17.3m.
It will be interesting to see what will show up on Shortman in T+4, but I guess that there's a fair bit of closed short positions in recent days.
We'll see soon enough
