Wow, never seen so many bigoted statements in one thread before. We Aussies must think we are the bees knees - can't speak up against a working class person, can't have female flight attendants (they're too emotional?), can't have the PM throwing a wobbly at his own flight crew (against the law?), etc.
No point in continuing, we don't know the whole story and we probably never will because it is so likely to be completely distorted - either way. And of course, the press don't give a hoot - if it sells papers, fills in air time, etc.
BTW, these ppl who pass judgments on others so quickly, I wonder how they would stand up to "public' scrutiny...
