Kogan, Dodo et al don't own any network infrastructure. in order to charge a premium a business needs to offer a premium service. This can't be said about Telstra. Customer service is terrible.
Absolutely agree with rest. Management consultants are the most useless people in the planet. I've been through many MC designed restructures. None of them have lasted longer than 6 months. I'll never understand why CEO's outsource decision making to a bunch of graduates. I'd have preferred a Tencent type of model. Strategic stakes in up and coming companies and subsidiaries run as standalone business which can be easily spun out.
