yes and also Course of Sales is a function of Market Depth and is the meeting of every individual seller and buyer as the case may be to match off order quantities of the same price level (boring assumed knowledge that everyone ought have before chuckign any money down)

So yes I totally understand how market depth works and the match out process and how it can be manipulated, especially in small caps, and with having market depth constantly refreshing in the background while I'm watchign ******, you tend to 'notice' when orders drop in again more so for small caps that could only have 20 or so trades in a given market trading day.

I am pretty cerytain that 3.1cents order appeared during the market annoucnment and IMO for no other reason than to try and trick small shareholders into placing SELL orders at the top of the list, that is at the same 3.1 cents or cheaper to 'ensure' they will get executed first. panicking sellers jumping to the top of the queue happenes all the time in ever stock, just as FOMO buyers do in reverse.

As for algo's being ressponsible for small orders, maybe they could be but my point is that any order for "less than a commercially viable parcel size" is against the ASIC trading rules, and anyone doing those or programming their algo to do them should safely assume they're s at risk of flagging up onto exception reports for sure. All of that auto monitoring invlves terribly basic IT skills that of course ASIC would have. Furthermore ASIC would also be taking a look at the HIN numbers involved in any suspicous orders particualry if people are plcing SELL orders to direct others towards BUY orders that they also have sat in the market, and they'd be lookign to find all and any realtionships between HINs that are involved in suspicous order placements.

The fact that this happenning is drop dead obvious IMO and observations.

I don't particularly care if people agree or not with these opinions, but they certainly don't need to question my level of understanding of the markets and the mechanics of trading and settlements, nor the rules that govern market participants.

To the other doubters, unless you were placing orders and taking positions during all of the eras which included Nick Leeson, Dot Com, GFC and now COVID I in turn doubt how much knowledge you could have yourselves.
