IMHO, there are not many people out there wanting to buy only 40% of a LV, knowing full well that AOE will be the operator of the JV. Not majors anyway, unless of course they will look in the future to do a full T/O of AOE, where we have got Shell as a watchdog.

And, I called it sometime ago in the BPT threads, that AOE will not be paying cash only but cash and shares.

A VERY, VERY GOOD RESULT FOR AOE THIS IS.
Although, being also a BPT holder, I am not happy there. But I was expecting it. Glad I sold some of the BPT the day before the sale was announced, lol.

And, the market has responded in that way too, with AOE moving up, and BPT going down.
