By the way, as I know you were bullish on TLS about 3 months ago and subsequently proved right, but for reasons other than what you thought. From the way I see it it, ie as a cynic, the TLS action has been simply ( possibly over simplified) :

a. Intense media speculation that ziggy would be sacked as he had not met his own revenue projections.

b. ziggy sees his own job and pay packet under threat. Only way to increase revenue quickly for TLS is to increase the price of the service over which they have monoply control , line rental.

c. Too furthur ensure his position, ziggy pus a large proportion of profits into the dividend to ensure a share price rise.

Of course this is a short term fix, as all political moves are. A short term tenure ( ie 3-4 years) only requires short term solutions. TLS should be putting money into capex and technology improvements, but this can be allowed to run down as ziggy and his super will be long gone by then and so someone elses problem.

..call me cynical.... :)
