and estimating that 4 lifts per hour is well within the speed of the hoists, this means I can revert to my original estimate of 8 tonnes/hr rather than accepting Jackson's estimate of only 3 to 5 tonnes/hr
for those who think that 2 tonnes might overload the system it's not so, as the design safety factor is about 4 to 1
