For what it is worth my opinion is that around the world there are large numbers of companies and research institutions making, inventing, developing sensors however the sensor is always only half the story.

The other half of the story is how the information from the sensor is processed and turned into valuable commercial data.

Using traditional and cloud computing you can process the information from sensors and turn it into valuable commercial data.

The market however that AKIDA technology generally services is at the edge and far edge without connectivity at unheralded low power and at incredible processing speeds and using only a small percentage of its total processing power.

I personally accept that these attributes are not being offered by anyone else and that this is why NASA is interested in Brainchip and what it has to offer.

If this is correct then AKIDA technology teamed with any companies sensors will make that sensor more efficient and more powerful than any equivalent sensor teamed with any other processor currently available.

In effect the five year lead currently held by AKIDA technology will transfer to the sensor utilising it to process its data.

If you tie in Professor Marshall’s assessment that if someone wanted to copy what noisy gut does starting now it would take 10 to 11 years to develop it and bring it to market. Then assuming AKD1000 does the job as described by Peter van der Made in his recent presentation for detecting Covid-19 then it is a no contest.

Now this is just my anonymous opinion so DYOR.
