My old man always said follow the money trail and my view is that the corruption/covid/lockdowns etc that you refer to is debilitating the middle class in the US and trying to create a larger welfare dependant class of Americans. The big winners here are the Amazons, Facebooks, major retailers, major fast food operators, Big Farma and armaments industry to start with.
About 95% of the US MSM is owned by 6 corporation and I would not be surprised if the same people have large fingers in the Big Farma pie. Ownership of the US is falling into fewer and fewer hands and ''special'' events like Covid are helping this along at a great rate,
Governments used to control corporations
but corporations now control governments
and the last US election is a blatant example of this to anyone that cares to look at the big picture
and take off their ''I hate Trump because the MSM says Trump is a bad man'' T shirts
Should change the name of the pandemic to COVID1984 coz that's where we are heading
