hmmm - emotionally I agree - but, there's some advantage into referring to them as retarded or deprived or whatever -
because a lot of them wouldn't be if they had an education - philosophy, sociology, politics, etc etc
the very thing that they fear - but, wouldn't fear if they engaged
it's actually their deprivation that is a major part of the problem.
Not all of course - there's some tertiary educated ones among them - whether they are just 'job' trained or really educated is a bit of a guess - we supposedly have an educated population in Australia - but, one struggles to find people who have studied such things as philosophy, sociology, art (and, yes - art is very valuable for social and cultural health) etc etc.
most of our boneheads are only fit to be on a board or run a chip shop or dig holes or fill teeth etc. - if they've done a uni course on that - they consider themselves educated --------- which is a lol moment
