though when I was at uni it was different. Med school, science and liberal arts got more than their fair share of smart people. Actually the lesser achievers at school did law and commerce. But then that was a while ago when different drivers operated
maybe you aren’t as old as I thought you were.
the trouble is there are such different motivators for study And different entry criteria now days but I’m still pretty sure of one thing - going to uni is no guarantee of being capable of critical thinking these days though not going may make it less likely that you’ve learned the skill at all.
