It looks that presently base metal values would be roughly similar in Au $ as when Intec closed the Hellyer mill,although operating expense could be lower now,but overall we could say treating the tailings to produce a Pb/Zn concentrate would be a break even situation.

However if a gold conc' could be produced essentially with the bulk operating costs covered other than a specialist gold circuit the contained gold in the tailings say using a 750ktpa thruput would be around 60,000 oz.Little wonder BSM is investigating the possible gold recovery.
