TA incorporates all the information out there, including fundamental analysis into price action, for instance research has shown prices falling before earnings announcements predates earnings decline. As retail investors we cannot rely on fundamental analysis alone, to think we have an edge over fund managers based only on public information that we read is absurd. I'm pretty terrible in TA, but I think it is most useful when there's no news released, as inside info is always leaked no matter which company.
