I just dropped DM an email to get a little more clarity around trading halt.

This is the reply -

Thanks for your note. Yes, the Jan 5 date is just the standard trading halt timing - if we complete sooner, we’ll come out of the halt sooner.

The reason for the halt is that there are a great many documents involved in this deal, and we’ve started signing them. However, signing isn’t completed and with signatories in various stages of lockdown, in Australia, in Tel Aviv, in San Francisco, etc… I didn’t want trading to occur while we’re midway through the process. Also, I’m in isolated quarantine right now, so am not allowed/able to execute wet ink signatures that need witnesses.

Given all this, I didn’t want to be silent and let the market trade on assumptions as to whether the deal is happening or not, but rather halt the stock and indicate that the halt is pending an announcement in respect to completion of the financing.Hope that helps - I wish you a Happy New Year!
