Theres a lot of incentive for people who need a rapid result. I would also argue there is potential for even more missed cases resulting from people not getting tested at all and avoiding a 4 hour wait time, just to be tested. We have had numerous stories of people getting a test then going about their daily lives while waiting for the positive result to come back.
I understand PCR is more accurate. That doesn't mean rapid tests have no place in countries where PCR is available, in my opinion of course.
